Account Identification: We collect your full name, institutional email address, and Student ID to verify eligibility.
Service Data: Borrowing records, including item IDs, timestamps, and locations, are stored to manage the equipment lifecycle.
Technical Logs: Basic device information and system interaction logs are used for security and troubleshooting.

Security Measures

Access Control: Data is protected by Firestore Security Rules, ensuring students only see their own records.
Encryption: Data in transit and at rest is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
Admin Oversight: Only authorized MIS personnel have access to system-wide logs.

Data Retention

Records are retained for the duration of the academic semester for auditing. Academic-related borrowing history may be archived for system performance analysis but will be anonymized where possible.
