Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the MISLend equipment management system. Effective Date: February 29, 2026.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MISLend, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the system. These terms apply to all students, faculty, and administrators of UCC MIS.

3. Equipment Borrowing Rules

  • Purpose: Equipment must be used for academic purposes or authorized campus activities only.
  • Verification: A valid ID or face recognition verification is required for all physical borrowing transactions.
  • Return Times: All items must be returned by the time specified during the borrowing request.
  • Location: Borrowed items should generally remain within designated campus areas unless explicitly authorized.

5. Damage & Loss Responsibility

Users assume full responsibility for the condition of borrowed equipment.

  • Inspection: Users should inspect equipment before finalizing the borrowing process.
  • Incident Reporting: Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately via the system's Incident Report feature.
  • Liability: In cases of gross negligence or intentional damage, users may be held liable for repair or replacement costs according to university policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

MISLend and its developers are not liable for any academic or personal loss resulting from system downtime, equipment unavailability, or data errors, although we strive for maximum reliability.
